Vindication After Humiliation - Lies, Half Truths and Accusations by Bobby Lee Cook

Are you familiar with the Barclay’s commercials, which show extremely understated celebrations for major accomplishments in the world of banking? Barclays, of course being a British entity, pokes fun at the very British reserve which has allowed them to conquer markets across the world. I would direct readers to # 3, below, with this bit of news. Yesterday, Wednesday, January 23, 2008, a task force of GBI agents, Secretary of State Investigators and Prosecuting Counsel Investigators, raided the Chattooga County Elections Office, confiscating files, relative to the 2006 Election Fraud Scandal, which brought me to Chattooga County and the corruption that dwells there. My life has been torn asunder since I began, in Bobby Lee Cooks efforts to uncover the identity of my sources.

Combined with last week’s GBI arrest of the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Jailer, Roger Brewster, (story below), I live in hope. In Barclay’s fashion, I am celebrating by exceeding my carbohydrate intake allotment for today. I am indulging in second glass of wine. Pardon my exuberance.

Teresa Watson

Last week, I had to endure a four hours deposition, in a case I have nothing to do with, for which I know no facts, and am not a party to the case. I want to answers some of the issues which came up during the deposition, which Bobby Lee Cook twisted greatly, just so you will know that this could happen to you, too:

1) Mr. Cook presented a letter from someone with American Solutions, because I have allowed their ad on my site, for free, almost since the beginning of my website. In the letter, the gentleman said that American Solutions knew nothing about my site, and had no agreement with me for advertising. I have the communications, still, which arranged all of that, and will happy to provide it to anyone who wishes challenge me. When I contacted them offering a free spot, because I believe in the cause, they jumped at it, and sent me their logo/link and thanked me profusely. That occurred around August 13th/14th, 2007.Additionally, after sitting next to Jimmy Cushman, Newt Gingrich’s son-in-law at the September American Solutions kick off in Marietta last fall, Mr. Cushman and I corresponded a number of times. I wrote an op-ed about American Solutions a week or so later, and he referred me to Speaker Gingrich, who linked to my op-ed from the American Solutions website. For about a month, I got much traffic and e-mails to Contact@RomeNewsByWatson.com from American Solutions supporters who read the op-ed from the AS website.

2) Mr. Cook read from a letter he received from Mr. Alan Begner, of Begner and Begner, regarding my contention in a private e-mail, to a Law Enforcement source, which we believe Cook obtained illegally. In the body of the e-mail I mention to this confidential source, my attempt to retain the Begner’s as legal counsel to represent me in this deposition several months ago. They explained that they were friends with Cook, and could not represent me. I tell my source that after speaking with the Begner’s that they refer me to Mr. Mark Spix, and will be contacting him for me.Mr. Begner refutes this claim, but most of my conversation was with his wife and law partner Corey Begner, who not only gave me Spic contact information, offered to contact Spix so that he would expect my call.

I am very disappointed the Begner’s chose to evade the whole truth, the “rest of the story” by his writing the letter to Mr. Cook, and leaving his wife and law partner, Corey Begner out of the communiqué.

3) The third party shuffle was also used by persons at the Georgia Prosecutorial Council. In October, I contacted the Executive Director of the, Rick Malone, after Carlton Vines was arrested for DUI, Leaving the Scene, etc. We had a lengthy phone interview, and I have my notes from that interview. Weeks later, after receiving e-mail confirmation form Rick Malone’s office, I wrote an article about his comments during the phone interview, as well as quoted directly from the e-mail.

But when Jason Espy contacted the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council, the PAC had Joe Burford respond, denying any contact with me. I never spoke with Joe Burford, I spoke with his boss, Rick Malone. I never received an e-mail from Joe Burford. I received and e-mail from his boss, Rick Malone. But the Summerville News allowed Bobby Lee Cook to have his communications with Joe Burford for the deposition.

But having those three letters, from persons with which I had no or little contact. (plausible deniability), paints a picture that I am a liar.

4) Another letter Bobby Lee Cook read from was from mike Prieto, the original attorney who was going to take my case to represent me against Bobby Lee Cook. In an e-mail which Bobby Lee Cook obtained, we assume illegally, form a confidential Law Enforcement source, I confided that I was hiring Mike Prieto. That was true, I had already met with him at length one afternoon, he told me that had already told his mother that he would be representing him, when she questioned him, fearing for his going against Bobby Lee Cook. We communicated a number of times before the Motion to Compel hearing, but already, Bobby Lee Cook asked me in the first deposition if Mike Prieto was representing me. I had told him that Mike Prieto was not representing me for the deposition, and at that point, when I asked where Mr. Cook had gotten the e-mail, is when Mr. Cook called me “Miss Nipples”.

So, in the second deposition, Bobby Lee Cook read from the letter from Mike Prieto, saying he was not representing me. DUHHHH, I had retained other counsel by then, but at the time I wrote the e-mail to my friend, Mike Prieto had agreed to take my case, albeit once I raised $25,000.00

5. Last spring, after two old ladies in my neighborhood called me “Miss Nipples” to my face, while poking me in the breasts, in front of a neighborhood picnic, and accused me of having an affair with a real estate developer I had only met a few days before, I took out a criminal warrant application, like the one I took out on Bobby Lee Cook. But when I first went to the court house, to the Clerks’ Office, and explained what I wanted to do, they had me fill out a certain set of papers, and then they took me upstairs to see Tami Colston. IN Judge Colston’s chambers, she told me that because eit was not an immediate threat, and not form a family member, the issue was best handled in Magistrates Court.I then went to Magistrates Court, filled out more paperwork, talked to Judge Caldwell about how best to handle the situation, and the matter was set before Magistrate Judge Bob Couey. Judge Couey heard the complaint, asked me if I wanted him to pit the women in jail, which I assured him I did not. I simply wanted them to stop calling me vulgar names and touching me in my private places. Judge Couey told them that if he heard form me again about their activities, that he would put them in jail.

But Bobby Lee produced the documents filled out for Judge Colston, and accused me of having been in her court. I had not been her court for that. I had been in Judge Couey’s Court. I did not even remember about having gone to Judge Colston’s chambers, and did not, last week during the deposition, had forgotten all about that brief, two minute chat we had had. But Bobby Lee Cook accused me of lying, when I kept insisting that I had never been in Tami Colston‘s court on this matter, but had been in Judge Couey’s court.

6. This past fall, when I began the Dixie Mafia Series, I began getting postings to my website, and e-mails from a young man, who after several scathing posts, identified himself as Adam al Sayed, and further bragged about his being a student at Emory University, and a former Darlington student, as well as the former editor in chief of the Darlingtonian, Darlington Academy’s yearbook. His posts began to get more and more vitriolic, and he began to include Darlington in his rants. Someone affiliated with Darlington contacted me, and suggested that I block his posts, and contact someone in an official capacity at Darlington, to get the full story about Adam. I did just that, and while, because of privacy issues, they could not tell me what had happened, they suggested strongly that I might want to inform the Emory Police and a Campus Counselor, both of which I did.

I spoke several times with Pscitrist for Campus for Student Affairs, as I understand it, as well as a Police Officer form the Emory Campus olice. I e-mailed postings and e-mails from Adam to both of these gentlemen. During one of the phone conversations with the Emory Campus Police Officer, he told me that he might notify the FBI. By the last conversations with the, I had learned from folks at Darlington about something Horrible Adam al Sayed had done to female student he was angry with, while he was the Editor in Chief of the Darlingtonian.

In several e-mails after those conversations, I instructed Adam to stop posting to my website, and to stop e-mailing me. But he persisted, and so I again warned him.

Finally, in fear, I warned him that the FBI was now monitoring his communications with me. He never e-mailed me again after that. BY that point, I had already received the gunshot warning on my answering machine. I extrapolated what the Emory Campus Police had said about contacting the FBI, and embellished, in fear, in order to stop Adam al Sayed from contacting me again. BUT I WOULD DO IT AGAIN, knowing what I know about what happened he did at Darlington.

But, Bobby Lee Cook said in the deposition last week, that he had called the Rome FBI, and they confirmed that they were not monitoring Adam al Sayed’s communications. I NEVER SAID I HAD CALLED the Rome FBI. The Emory Campus Police told me they might contact the FBI, and I assumed that would have been the Atlanta Office.

7. Finally, Bobby Lee Cook accused me of lying on my job application with Robinson Humphries, almost 25 years ago. I did not lie on my Robinson Humphries application, but when I was hired, and interviewed, I did not know that the job they had advertised in the newspaper, and for which I was applying for required a College Degree. I had been referred to the job by a friend at church, and ended up getting the job. My resume listed my several years of college experience, but no degree. The job application did not ask if I had completed college, only how many years of college completed. But after several months of work, someone recommended me for the training program for becoming a trader. When the forms were brought to me, and I filled them out, again NOT listing a degree, the Branch Manager’s assistant came to me very upset. She said that the job I currently held required a College Degree, and while she knew I did not have one, that now she was going to be in trouble for allowing me to interview fo rth job. She asked me to just put something down.

As I have said in testimonies before groups of Christian women, as I have told young people when they make serious mistakes, (including Adam al Sayed), and as I have written about on this website, I wrestled all day long with that dilemma. At the end of the day, I put down something on the form, like a BA Marketing, because I had in fact been a Marketing Major at Columbus College prior to that.

When my Branch Manager found out, I was fired. And RIGHTFULLY SO. I forget things, I misunderstand things, and when frightened as in the case with Adam al Sayed, for my physical safety, I might come on with a little embellished false bravado. But I have rarely intentionally lied in my life.

I learned a devastating lesson at Robinson Humphries that day almost 25v years ago. And I am glad that the Branch Manager held me accountable, to what I knew for violating my own personal code of conduct.

BUT, looking at these seven items, it paints a grim picture, if you do not know the whole story, spread out over 25 years.

So, that is the “Rest of the Story” in case what the Summerville News has printed, is not the whole story. I do not know, and can only speculate. But all my personal life has been put on parade, not for a case I am involved in, and not for any crime I have committed, but for a case which does not involve me, and for people I do not even know, or only know in passing. Bobby Lee Cook could do this same thing to anyone one reading this story, because he is Bobby Lee Cook, and the laws do not apply to him.

Chattooga County Jailer Arrested for Attempted Meth SalesIn the long hours covering and writing about this week’s Hispanic Drug Gang Murder Trial, in Rome’s Federal District Court, I missed this gem, out of Chattooga County.

Roger Brewster, a full time maintenance worker at Hays Correctional Facility, and a part time Chattooga County jailer, was arrested Monday afternoon on several drug related charges.

Brewster, who was released n $50,000 property bond, has been charged with conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, use of a communication facility in committing a felony and criminal solicitation to sell a controlled substance, each a felony.

The arrest was the culmination of a four month GBI investigation, which included Brewster’s meet with and attempt to sell several pounds of methamphetamine to an Undercover narcotics investigator with the GBI. Brewster has been suspended from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department, without pay, pending an administrative hearing.

Just wanted to post a comment on this Chattooga Co fiasco. I have “Ben” reading since the beginning of the Dixie Mafia series, and have heard of conspirosy theroies, corrupt judges, attorneys, law enforcement, you name it, its been here.
I just want to add a glisten of hope to Chattooga County by an experience I have had in this so called Court system we have.
I have been in a court battle for nearly five years, been in front of EVERY judge in the system. I have witnessed (not just in my own case) shear pathetic actions by the judicial system. I agree some judges are a disgrace to their profession (EBF), but I have to say that through the last five years I have never had the complete pleasure and restoration in my faith of our judicial system, as I experienced this past week in front of Judge Ralph VanPelt.
This man has my sincerest Highest Respect for his compassion to the citizens he presides over. This man held court with compassion, not like it was a burden to hear all sides of the case. I haven’t a clue as to the ruling just yet, and even if our side doesn’t get the ruling we would like, I am confident we will get a fair and just ruling.
Chattooga County should be honored to have THE HONORABLE JUDGE RALPH VANPELT, representing the citizens of this county.
Keep em straight TW, and Thanks for the opportunity to post.

Dear BenWatch,

Thank you so much for this breath of fresh air. This is very encouraging.

Ben Watching, Five years is a long time to be in the system. But win or lose what is important to those of us reading, is whether there is a level playing field where everyone is on the same page of the rule book? Has your lawyer or lawyers shaken their heads at any of the rulings? You say you felt the despair that so many others have felt that the system is all but broken in that county. I hope you are satisfied, when all is said and done, that you got fair results. Here is hoping that you and other posters are right about Judge Van Pelt. When the Courthouse Cleaning is over there needs to be someone left with a clue as how to proceed. Maybe Judge Finster will be reappointed by the Governor? Maybe CC can have their Drug Court back? Maybe real justice will prevail? Joe Public needs to have confidence in their Public Officials, not the feeling that while they shake your hand they are picking your pocket with the other.

Room4,
We have been lawyered to death…and with some judges you could tell that their mind had been swayed in the back room. It had gotten so expensive that we were pro se, (representing ourselves). We had so much paper work threw at us that I have learned alot about the “proper procedures” of court filings and etiquites. I could work in a law office with confidence. LOL
There is so much truth to Teresa’s posting (in my opinion) its frightening, but Judge Van Pelt was by far the most refreshing burst of fresh air I have seen in these five long years. He actually listened with the sincere effort to let everyone speak. He didn’t let the attorneys “lawyer us to death” so that our side was not given. When I left the court house, I was relieved that we were lucky enough to get into his court.
Of course if we don’t get the verdict we want, we will be back, We will just have to regroup, rethink, and return, and I can only hope we will be fortunate enough to get back in front of him.
Hey, as far as Im concerned he could run for ANY office and he would have my vote. I guess the main word of the day, and in his court, is RESPECT, and he has given that to our case.
Thanks again to Teresa Watson, I feel she is fighting a battle for US, “Joe Public”, and she also has my utmost respect.

Ben Watching,

I have never witnessed Judge Van Pelts actions in court but he is the only one of the four (woods, hill, connelly, Van Pelt) that I have heard of having the most respect by those who have experienced his fairness. I spoke to soon in an earlier post and have since retracted my statement and issued an apology to Judge Van Pelt. I will admit the other three are not fit to serve on the bench and should be put away for their actions. I have had no dealings with Hill but like I stated in an earlier post ” the fruit does not fall far from the tree”. I will leave it at that.

Evan BF,
Believe me I can understand your frustrations with the courts. Like I posted before, I have been in front of EVERY Judge, to the point Im sure they know my face if not my name. LOL
Same for the attorneys so I won’t post too much, but from what Ive witnessed, Judge Hill would be second on my list, of the better judges in our courts.
So as not to cause myself or our case any problems, with that statement I will sign off.

Ben Watching

Ben,

I choose to be weary of perception as some things are not what they appear. The tactics used on me by the “fruit” was based purely on the perception the “fruit” created and the whole time the “fruit” was plotting against me and acting like he was my best friend. I have emails of the “fruit” asking me “can we still be friends” even after I held him accountable. I thought this to be very wierd and the “fruits” manhood came into question. Some in this corrupt kingdom of the LMJCC live by the policy of “keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer”. The “fruit” proved to me this was his tactic. The “fruit” thinks he made money off of me by being dishonest. In fact it has cost him money as myself and numerous attorney’s in Tennessee will never recomend him as a good attorney to anyone after they found out how he betrayed me. I have had two people ask me if I know of a fair attorney in Walker County and I can garrantee you the “fruit” was not recomended. So therefore I have to assume the fruit from which tree it fell is rotten as well. I have also heard stories of Judge Hill’s past actions which I found to show a lack of ethics. I hope you are correct in your assumptions. My opinion.

Dear

R4OM;
We can only hope and pray that Judge Finster will get reappointed and the Drug Court back up and running. It wasn’t running long enough for the community to see how it works and the good that can come out of it. But, by law, we might have to have a new election. If this should happen, we hopefully learned our lesson about handling absentee ballots properly.

EBF;
“Fruit” trees can produce tons of good fruit and still through out a “bad apple” once in awhile.

great interview Teresa. People from the site started logging in near the end….not sure if it was too difficult to find the chatroom, but dixiechic and sniffsevil were there, and Gianni read my questions (the three parter of course)….
It’s just REALLY difficult to convey the information in one hour to someone who has no clue who the people are, their personalities and their histories………..

Dear RGS,

I am not sure it was a good interview, I felt so scattered and lame, even with notes in front of me, AND an OUTLINE of Talking Points.

But I told my husband, who was just getting home from evening classes, that I could tell your style of writing - I knew that was your question, LOL.

Thank you guys for logging on. I am so NOT a phone person to begin with, and while I was not nervous, I was out of my element.

It was a good interview. I think the National Exposure will be good. I agree with romegasir about it being difficult to convey all the information in just an hour. Hopefully more exposure will come soon.

Dear SE -

I am not so sure. But I am so grateful for the opportunity and the exposure. She and I have traded e-mails, and she cannot not comprehend that someone just doesn’t step in from some higher authority, and put a stop to it. She was so gracious to have me on, and she was a very gracious host.

Dear RGS-

How funny! I was lamenting that I had to miss American Idol for the interview.

Tell your Life Partner, he/she that I am flattered.

You guys are great!

TW,

Sorry, I missed the interview tonight. I am so disappointed. I am hoping, that you will give us some details, tomorrow. It is hard to comprehend, what you are having to endure, & no one is stepping in to put a stop to it. Then on the other hand, when “FEDERAL LE” are involved, I don’t have much trust anyway. I am not saying, they are all bad, but I guess, we could start with M. Davis. Hopefully, Larry Black, the new guy, on the drug task force; is the real thing. I do not believe he would comprise, his position/badge, for any type of material or selfish gain. Hang in there girl!! You have my full support. Once again guys, you can blog all day. But, when election time comes, if you don’t get out & vote. Nothing will change. It’s up to the people. I hope the people from Chattooga, & Floyd counties, will get out & vote, at their next election. Catoosa just cleaned house, good luck, to all of you guys. TW, I think, you do a good job. You have me hooked. This is really the first blog, I have ever, joined in on. I like the fact, that you, have your facts & don’t just spread gossip. My Opinion: BLC & his puppets, are running amuck, because they are the confused one’s. If, they were clean, you would have never got to meet them. Their names, would not have turned up, if their hands were clean. That is how I see it.

Dear Curious,

Thank you so much. I trust the feds, but what so many folks do not understand is that they have so many hoops they have to jump through to get a case approved, unless it is directly related to drugs or terrorism.

So, I am waiting on the Cavalry, in part, but the folks who vote are the ones who ultimately control the end of the story…and the beginning of a new one.

TW

Great response TW….think of it this way……….whatever job you do, how often are you 100% certain that the decision you made is the right decision and more importantly the BEST decision you could have made…….Now pretend that the decision you are making could destroy a person’s life or at the very least effect it for the next several decades………..these officers are under EXTREME pressure to be perfect in their every decision, whether it be a split-second or a well-considered,, thought-out one. It’s a tough job. It is a job that is completely unappreciated by those who should appreciate it the most.

romegasir
January 31st, 2008 at 12:18 am

RGS, Well thought out from the perspective of ex-law enforcement. I do understand that the pressure is extreme and certainly of all people in the world realize that even with the best trained and good intentioned LE bad decisions are often made. The reason is simple, we train officers in this area and then lose them to better jobs and better pay in other areas. It all goes back to the elite who run this County, they certainly don’t want people with badges and guns who are as smart as they are. Cops who think they are gunslingers and cowboys are the rule here not the exception. Why? because a cop who wants his power and his chance to get back at the world for imagined wrong-doings will work for less as the oversight is less….This is for you RGS, the officer responsible for the case that you and I have sparred over was fired, what for?taking pay-offs and working security in uniform at a poker game and making sure no problem for the players. How do I know that, I was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way he had on his uniform, was packing his gun, and had his car parked outside. I know you think I am picking on LE, not so, I have many friends (I think) who are honest and capable doing good work for the betterment for all of us. They are in the minority!!!!…….Keep reading the posts with the Fed. trial, you will have the opportunity to hear about a couple more higher-ups who are traveling the wrong trail. When I read what you write, it still amazes me that you were ever a part of LE. I hope and believe that you were one of the good guys. I know someone who was sentenced to death, for pointing a gun, that’s all pointing a gun and then being sold out by her crooked lawyer to a crooked judge. Could that happen in little Floyd County, You better believe it did. Am I mad, you better know it. Am I fighting the injustice, You can be sure of it. Will it be overturned, I doubt it, Why?Because you cannot let lawyers judge lawyers, you cannot let LE police LE. There has to be a better set of checks and balances. If you care about the truth, and want to know what happened and not just what you heard or read, I will furnish the transcript. I do hope you will take this in the spirit it is intended.Last, and most important nobody, nobody is perfect or even near perfect in the toughest job on the planet. Now for the shocker, I do appreciate LE, They saved my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To MIB, I don’t have a clue, to who you are, or what you have went through, but you totally understand; where I was coming from. Thank you so much, for helping me make my point. The good one’s are in the minority! The lesson, that I learned from, had nothing to do with drugs. But, the drugs & money laundering, & the people involved, are at the root of the problem. If, I were to get arrested today, & could prove my innocent, it would probably take years before I could clear my good name. That’s what happens to a lot of people. Then, they run out of resources, they die, or they just plain give up, because of all the hoops, they have to go through. When the whole system is corrupt, you can’t win, unless you stand up for your county & vote the evil out. How those absentee ballots got out, is beyond me. If, what T.W. says is true, it will never happen again. Hopefully, things are starting to look up for CC & all the other’s, who are effected, by these evil people.

OV-I hope Ben Ballinger, can get through this quickly. Can’t wait to read the SN. Thanks for the heads up.

Just a quick line or two to say hello to all. Can’t say too much, but I wanted everyone to know that I appreciate all of your support. My side is finally coming out and and the battle has started. All of you need to keep doing your constitutional right, which is to have free speech. You guys from Chattooga Co, have the chance to right a wrong that has been in place for so long. YOU WILL BE THE JUDGE, weigh all the facts and then make your judgment. It will be really nice when I can actually get back on here on a regular basis. You guys have a great leader in Teresa, do her justice and support and help her. Dirtyboy/k.Busbin

Curious, It really looks like the calvary is on the way in Chattooga and about time. RGS always had the right idea, go after the plaintiffs, if they start feeling some pressure they might yell loud enough for someone to pay attention. They are simply tools of the Big Boys now, but they can be turned into liabilities rather than assets. The pressure must keep coming in that direction. Good for Chattooga countians, but remember this, I have always said “Floyd County will eventually show its ugly face as even more corrrupt”. The reasons are simple; more people, more lawyers, more judges, 10 times more law enforcement making cases to support the above and provide the revenue. In 1970, Floyd County had 71,000 people, it had 1 judge, 1/4 staff in the District Attorney’s office, 1/10 law enforcement, and 2 or 3 people in the probation office. All these departments have grown like kudzu on the highways, Why? According to the politicians and the heads of the different law enforcement agencys crime has gone down every single year. We now have more people in prison per capita in the state of Georgia than any other state in the Union. We have 4 Judges, none elected, all appointed by the then Governor. We need elections with somebody running besides the incumbents who were appointed. The Rome New Tribune pointed out in an editorial last year “It is customary in Floyd County that incumbent judges run without opposition) This might not be the direct quote but close. Last but not least, the local chamber lists the population as a little over 90,000, Why do we need 3 more judges for those 20 or so thousand people when we had only 1 for 71,000. This is a question that needs to be answered, but more importantly, Are the Superior Court Judgeships not worthwhile opportunitys for Lawyers that know their trade. Of Course not, Not for $140,000 per year. Its all in the Money……………………You get what you pay for Judges, Law enforcement, and LAWYERS, UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear MIB,

I agree. What we pay LE is outrageous, and what we pay judges, compared to what REALLY Good attorneys make in the private sector is minimal, HOWEVER, there are a lot of lawyers in FLoyd County who are barely making it. I actually like and trust a couple of our judges, appointed or not.

BUt the real travesty if what we pay our local LE. Starting salary for someone in LE, who risks his life every time he clocks in, should not be under $30,000, and should definitely not be under $20,000, but in many cases, it is. More than any other aspect of administration, I believe that we need to take large steps to correct this in our City and County government.

WE have so many LE who not only have college degrees, but who have graduate degrees as well. Shouldn’t they be paid what upper level management in private corporations make?

And let me say, before I close, that I believe the Good Apples far outweigh the few Bad Apples.

DIRTY BOY FIGHTS BACK: BALLENGER TAKES CASE (headline)
(not exact wording)
Summerville resident DB went on the offensive and filed a $1million counerclaim against the people that are suing him

He Claims the statements he pulbished on a Rome-based website accusing E & B Hammit of illlegal acts were true, according to a counterclaim filed in CCSC by attorney BB
“Defendant is not liable to (the Hammits) becase his statements are true”
says “The Hammits are members of a criminal enterprise and are guilty of the commission racketeering activity, as defined by (Ga Law)”
The countersuit says the Hammits threatened to murder Busbin if he told sheriffs officials about the couples alleged illegal activties taking place on their property in Aug 05

The Hammits came to the worksite where DB and others were working on bilding their house on land owned by the Hammits. Hammitt threatened to mrder DB and other workers, if anything happened to the “pot plants” that the Hammitts were cultivating on their property.

The sheriffs dept was called to pull up a few plants that were growing on the construction site near their soon to be home. Sheriffs officials .
say the Hammits worked with Investigatiors and never were arrested for any drug activity

DB’s attoney also claims… accusing…. the Hammitts of illegal drug activity is protected under the U.S. First Amendment
“(Busbin) is not liable to the Hammitts because the alleged statements are protected free speech and matters of public concern and are protected under the First Amendment of the U S Constitution

“(The Hammitts) are willing members of a criminal group which is attempting to violate (Busbins) rght of free speech and harasses him for exercising same, and such criminal activities are a part of a criminal conspriosy, for whch (Busbin) is entitled to damages. As discover proceeds, addtional parties and counts may be added by (Busbin) by motion and amendment.” the lawsuit states.

Again, Busbin and his lawyer will have to prove that such a criminal group exists and then prove that the Hammits are involved.

“During August 2005, (Hammitts) persauded an employee of Georgia Power Co to work on their house during hours he was supposed to be working for GP, and obtained from the employee ground rods, the property of GPC, which (Hammitts) used to reinforce their concrete front porch. Said acts consititue theft under GA Law” The countersuit states “In early 2006 (Hammitts) used the US Mail to deliver to Busbin a flase and fraudulant 1099-Misc, falsely stated they had paid DB $26,244 in 2005, which they knew was not true. Besides such act violatin the IRS Code and Federal Mail Fraud statue, it is also…consititues rackereering activity, (according to CCSC documents)

These allegations too, have not been found as fact by law enforcement officials or the courts.
Despite the claims, Busbin is suing the Hammitts for $1million, court costs and attorney fees, according to court documents.
At the closing of the coutnerclaim, Balleger goes after the Hammitts lawyers for abusive litigation. The Hammitts are being Represented by JD, RA, and BLC
Busbin herby provides notice to the Hammitts their attorneys, aiders and abettors, and those acting concert wth the Hammitts that he will prusue an action for abusive litigation against Hammitts and their co-conspirators, if their complaint is not dismissed with the thme provided by the abussive litigation statute, court records state.

I DIDN’T TYPE WORD FOR WORD, BUT MOST OF IT IS WORD FOR WORD.
NOW ALL WE CAN DO IS WAIT FOR JUSTICE.
THANK YOU BEN BALLENGER FOR HAVING A BACKBONE, NOT ONLY FOR DIRTYBOYS SAKE, BUT FOR ALL INVOLVED. CHATTOOGA COUNTIANS NEED TO STAND UP FOR BB, DB, AND TW…

What’s the chances that the Hammitts all of a sudden have a new porch with the old one being disposed of?……what’s the chances that a Georgia Power employee somewhere is sweating bullets?

DEar SE,

That is right. Georgia law stays all discovery once a Motion to Dismiss is filed. Stephen Farrow was supposed t file a Motion to Dismiss on the morning of my Motion to Compel Hearing back on December 21, and if he had, I would not have had to go through with that hearing back then, or the depostion on January 11.

It appears that bobby lee cooks cronies are like sheep and will follow him even to the slaughter. Do these cronies not realize it is much more difficult for blc to get away with things he has gotten away with in the past? Do they not realize that this could be the beginning of his end? From what I read on this post it appears people are fed up with the corruption in all of the LMJCC and are ready to make changes. I would guess the citizens that are not associated with this corruption would like to see all the corrupt individuals arrested.

Heay, EBF and Everyone:

I ran home to post a quick storyon today’s Federal Case, BUT I AM NOT IN JAIL!

BLC was not prepared to go forward, and wanted to postpone the hearing on my Motion for Contempt…..hmmmmm

SO, my attorney went all the way up ther eprepared to argue, at the Hearing BLC wanted to argue, and didn’t get a chance to.

IN the meantime, all discovery is stayed, even in my deposition, for now, because Mr. Farrow, the Mayor’s attroney, got permission from the court, (Judge Westbrook), to file a Interrlocutory Appeal Application, and that stays everything! An interlocutory apeal, is a mini appeal, before the court ever gets to trial, in cases that have no merit, and should never have been brought in the first place. Specific rulings of the lower court judge get reviewed by the Court of Appeals to determine if the case should have been dismissed, (in this case), or if certain things should be required before continuing.

ROOM4ONEMORE

Anyone hear what’s going on In Chattooga with TW today?

Hey RGS -

I thing there is a good opportunity that Ms. Brady and myself will not be bothered by Bobby Lee Cook again, in regards to this Lyerly case.

First of all, I learned late yesterday that I did not have to be there.

Then, as I understand it, the hearing on the Motion to Compel Betty Brady came first, and Westbrook ruled that a depostion could be had, but not until the Motion to Dismiss had been resolved, since in the state of Georgia, once a MtD is filed, that stays all discovery.

Then, Bobby Lee Cook wanted to address the Motion to Dismiss, although that hearing was not set. But Stephen Farrow, the defendant’s attorney, said, “Let’s Do it”. Of course, Judge Westbrook denied the Motion to Dismiss on some one paragraph from a single case, presented by BLC, despite all the other case law presented by Farrow.

Next, Farrow moved/requested of Westbrook for a Certificate of Immediate Review/Interrlocutory Appeal, which Westbrook denied.

Then came my hearing, which BLC wanted to continue/postpone. My attorney said, “Nothing doing”, but between the Three Muskateers, (Ann Lewis, David Guldenschu and Stephen Farrow), as opposed to the Three Stooges, ( I will leave to your imagination who those three are), convinced Westbrook that if he signed off on Farrow’s Certificate for Immediate Review, that this would automatically stay even my Motion to Compel Hearing, so Westbrook went back and rescinded his ruling to deny the Certificate, and agreed to sign it.

Once the Appeals court hears this case, I imagine they will rule there are grounds for dismissal.

Once the case is dismissed, then my depostion, and assertion of the Georgia Press Shield Privilege and Ms. Brady’s testimony will be moot points.

But what was so very excellent was that, as I understand it from several who were in court, that Ann Lewis got a taste of BLC’s attitude towards women, (she has already read my depos’s and had a pretty good idea), and will be able to share with a Sonny-er dispositioned public servant. She has also read the ex parte letter from BLC to Tracy Maddux, the letter to my advertisers, and another letter which I have not mentioned on thsi site yet, but which could spell some serious trouble for for some folks up there.

Lucy got some ’splaining to do.

After reading and following this mess for several months, I figured that I’de drop by the court house today and see what was up. You could actually see BLC and Rex sweating. I even saw two of the Hammitts there. Actually it was one Hammitt and her daughter. I was wondering what they were doing there since their case is an entirely different case. Mrs. Brady’s Attorney seems to be a whip! She didn’t take any crap from Bad Legal Counsel. Maybe she needs to take up office here in Chattooga. People are really talking about this everywhere you go, and I do feel that when they look at the stupidity of all this, they laugh, not at TW but at BLC. Dirtyboy, Ben, TW, Overwhelmed, RGS, EBF, and all of you are doing Chattooga co. justice. Keep up the good work.

Dear Dudley,

I was told the Hammits were at the last Motion to Compel, and I can only say it bolsters our theory that this is a Criminal Conspiracy to Supress Civil Rights, notably, Free speech, and to interfere with interstate commerce, (some of my advertisers are out of state, and pissed). So, by their being there, we can connect them as co-conspirators with Bobby Lee Cook and Rex Abernathy and Jon Dennis, as well as Janice Galloway, to the suit against Dirty Boy and myself, and the Lyerly case. It is shaping up to be some strong Federal Civil RICO conspiracy, which I hope we can file before the feds come in on Criminal RICO. Either way, it should strip a few Chattoogans of their property and wealth.

Does anyone have any idea why Betty Brady? I know this is politics, and she is Rep., I remember is the deposition that B Dooley was mentioned (also republican). Is this just a political ploy to cause problems for BLC opponents?? Did he call their hands because of his (possible) involvement in the election fruad? and the fact citizens are fighting back? Is it because TW and her website has made CC citizens take notice?
Is this deeper than any of us know…and it seems much more complicated than BLC just being upset that TW is speaking of the DM.
Im new to politics, I just vote…and not for an exclusive party (Dem. or Rep) but the more I ask questions, the more I learn, Im believing this is a whole lot more complicated than even TW is saying.
Im sure she’s limited as to how much she can say, but it sure has the “wheels turning” in my noggin.
Do you think BLC is mad because TW has brought so much publicity to the problems and (possible) corruption in out county and LLMJS that it has also taken it tole on BLC’s power, and what he used to get by with? Maybe there are so many citizens watching now, even some of the “puppets” are questioning what they can let him get by with and what they can’t..to save their own hinnies…?

February 1st, 2008 at 7:12 pm

Dudley, I would have loved to have been there..was this in open court? Where is BB’s attorney from? not our district I suspect?

Im really just here to learn, and some of this stuff is exactly what movies are made of…it just doesn’t seem possible that this stuff could really go on in the United States of America.

I wish I knew for fact, just half of what Ive learned since TW’s site started on this Dixie Mafia series. Ive talked to people, (friends, family, families of some of the puppets, cronies, some that have been done wrong and some that think BLC was KING of the county. some that were involved in the absentee ballots that have known BLC’s power since they were very young) there is too much out there….too many stories…maybe some are exaggerated, but I am sure that there is enough that is true, that if ever the investigators were to talk to the right people, there could be trouble for nearly every part of our local goverment, some retired, some not.

The story on BLC’s son-in-law…there are so many holes in the investigation, I doubt anything will be proven, or disproven…but then you have to ask why all the HOLES??? Do our Investigators just take the word of the high en mighty? How could a man that had taken his own life with a rifle, shotgun, whatever….still have the gun laying on his chest or body when the EMT’s get there??? This is the country, even I know and Im a women…there is a recoil with a gun, rifel..what ever the case may have been…in my opinion (and I have shot a gun, rifle and pistol) there is absolutly no way that gun could have still been laying on the man’s chest…and Im no expert…so why was there no REAL investigation?
Thanks for the compliment, but TW is the only true one with a backbone..she’s given her real name, put her life and personal reputation on the line, all the rest of us have done is made comments and posted our thoughts.

Mr. Brown, your statement is as irrelevant as the RNT editorial page. Seems to me that little bobby cook was the premature one….assuming HE would have TW sent to jail weeks ago…of course, we’re talking about the same old man who assumes that men are having improper relations with their mothers, curses women (I once arrested his type on a daily basis) and believes it appropriate to call women sexual names during legal proceedings (probably just a Chattooga thing)

TW, that is hilarious. It is so awesome to see little bobby cook getting his rear handed to him in his own backyard. First Step, obtain lawyers to spank this Chattooga clique back into legal reality…………check.

Second step, Sue janice galloway and the Hammitts for starting this ridiculous abuse of the legal system….half-check

When they got to bed every night with a judgment on their credit report due to these ridiculous lawsuits, they are less apt to file another one, and less apt to be supporters of the Cook firm. By the way, should you or dirtyboy get this judgment I know a wonderful collections attorney who works on contingency basis.

to Dirtyboy………..I had an idea for ya today, and maybe you’ve already thought about it……..It couldn’t be forced by the court, but file a public document and then send it to the local press………..I’ll tell you for what in a second. You stated that there are sheriff reports that marijuana was found on or near the Hammitts property, and that, while not confirming that they were involved, in my opinion, would be enough to lead a reasonable person to speculate that they could have been involved…so that takes part of that section of the case.

in your public filing with the court and the press, offer to pay for destruction of the Hammitts porch to check the rods to see if they are Ga Power grounding rods………….make arrangements to put enough money in trust to pay for the rebuilding of the porch at a quality BETTER than it is now……but ONLY if it turns out you were wrong…..

TW, I am glad to see you didn’t go to jail and that things seem to be taking a big turn in your direction. Remember you have a lot of supporters.

Dear SE,

Thank you so much. I layed my fanny in the bed or on the couch all weekend, so sick, that I could not even take the sound or the light of the tv. But I did talk to a couple of folks in Chattooga County, and learned that there is GREAT SUPPORT for Betty Brady, now, to run for something.

I say that Chattooga County needs a NEW CHIEF MAGISTRATE, for starters. Someone who can actually read the Georgia Code, all by him/herself, and come to her own conclusions about what the laws mean. Someone with Common Sense and INTEGRITY, who does not Goose Step to Der Furher.

That would be a good start. Anyone know when Tracy Maddux is up for re-election? What about Princess? When does she have to run again?

It reminds me of that song from the late 80’s early nineties - “Time for a Cool Change”.

The days of being involved in a civil or criminal case and trying to scare your oponent by saying “boobby lee cook is my attorney” are comming to an end. He is on a long spiral downfall. What I have been wondering is, when he loses his cases, will he then turn around and bill the Hammitt’s and Galloways for his time and trouble. It is my opinion that the people of Chattooga co, really don’t care for BLC anymore. Frankly, not to many people of the county could afford his services anyway. I personally think the whole Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Court needs to be investigated with emphasis on bo woods and connelly. It has already been proven that no one has a legitimate survey of their property within this courts jurisdiction. All an attorney has to do is get a corrupt surveyor to dispute your survey and they have a court case which will be decided based on favoritism.

These judges are so intertwined with the attorneys that practice in this system it is next to impossible to have a fair trial.

One judge in North Georgia has a son who, in my opinion, pretends to be an an attorney.

David Cunningham and bo woods used to practice law together and I have heard they live in the same neighborhood. And then there is Connelly who is booby lee cook’s daughter. This whole court system needs to have a house cleaning if you can find some people that will run against these corrupt judges and hopefully will not disappear or commit suicide before the election.

It is my belief there are already investigations into blc and his cronies and bo woods and his cronies. There could even be a link to the disappearance of Theresa Parker. With all the stories of corruption within this court it is very possible all these people can be linked together some how. Time will tell.

This is my opinion and not the opinion of the website.

People outside this area, especially in the legal circles, know exactly how corrupt the legal system is within the LMJCC. I have heard attorneys that practice outside of the LMJCC system state how bad this court conducts itself. I spoke to one attorney in Chattanooga that said there is know rhyme or reason behind the rulings from any of these judges and he has never witnessed anything like this in all his years of practice in different judicial systems all over the country. Another attorney in Chattanooga was asked if he knew a good attorney that practices within the LMJCC and his response was “there are not any good attorney’s practicing within this court but ony judges that choose which attorneys they want to favor”. This court does not go by the law of the land these judges make rullings based on who mhas their head up the judges ass the furthest. What I find interestin in the arrest of Sheriff Billy Long is that the FBI had been investigating him for quite some time. Could this be happening within the LMJCC? I have much more confidence in the FBI than ever after the arrest Of this Sheriff. This is another example of anyone can be caught. The bottom line is these corrupt individuals within the LMJCC probably have a snitch in their circle of corruption that they would not believe would ever snitch on them. Their day is comming sooner than later.

Lest I bore you again, please allow me to make things simple for all of US !!!
Rather that the millions spent for the corrupted answers lets try this…
Simply require all lawyers and judges in the LMJCC, at least once…be required just once, to take a controlled polygraph, administered by the FBI and answer only some basic questions concerning their knowledge of sever criminal activities, like anything requiring 10 years or more imprisonment. For this give them immunity from prison time, “let them” pay restitution where appropriate, but not to exceed half their net worth.

The innocent have nothing to fear and a lot of respect to gain. The guilty, well we will know a better way to administer justice at the expense of a few Crooks being allow to assist justice for once!!! That is the will be assisting justice for once!!!

Only the innocent will agree to this and you can come to the correct conclusion without any more help!!!

I suggest there will be silence, taking the place of the gnashing of teeth…

Is there a better alternative ? ? ?

How much are BLCs’ fees for a case such as the Hammitts and Dennis couple? I sure hope they have it in writing. If they are left high and dry to deal with this backlash of counter suits on their own, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of some crying and wringing of hands. How can you plead a case for being an unwitting pawn in some bogus litigation against someone if you show up to gawk and cheer on the attack of your opponent by your counsel? Seems they are all caught in their own traps. Time will tell. Could it be possible some of these players will be under indictment for other activities before these suits are before a court? So much to ponder?

ROOM4ONEMORE

the law assumes that the Plaintiffs are the reason for the action, not the attorney. They are the fine folks who initiated all of these actions and they should be the ones that countersuits are filed against.

If it turns out that Dirtyboy’s defense of “truth” is sufficient, he will pretty much have carte blanche to tell everything he knows about these folks……………….and I wonder if a date has been set yet to tear down the porch and show what a Liar dirtyboy is………LOL

February 3rd, 2008 at 4:30 pm

I agree with Rome. There is nothing or no one in place to hold the judges and attorneys that practice within the LMJCC accountable for their actions. The Plantiffs can be used by an attorney and they can be held accountable, but no one in the legal community will hold these judges and attorneys within the LMJCC accountable. Therefore the attorneys have nothing at stake and nothing to loose. They are already wealthy at the expense of others and can actually sue the plantiffs weather they win or loose for their fees. Attorneys within the LMJCC has to have someone to use as plantiffs to fight their battles because this way they have nothing at stake and can get paid for fighting their fight. Therefore is is reasonable to assume that the plaintiffs are being used as suckers in some instances.

evanbubbafoster
February 3rd, 2008 at 4:34 pm

RGS..I forgot to say “you’re welcome” couple days back….and you are so right about the Plaintiffs are necessarily the reason for the actions…I have seen in my own experience “stupid” individuals being used to bring suit (Contacted by attorneys, through other clients) to bring suit…so that it will help in winning something larger. Not sure if the case is handled for free, or if the other client is footing the bill…but it does happen. The stupid fool that has been used doesn’t even realize it until they are at risk. It would be funny and serve them right, but in some case the attorney’s have ruined them and walks away to let them face their own battles…serves them right, but for their stupidity in thinking they are joining forces..only to find the got into bed with the devil.
People should beware….if an attorney is offering free services or service will be paid by another client if they will join forces…they are being USED, and they know not how STUPID they really are until all is said and done.

Last week it was reported that the GBI had retrieved documents in Summerville, GA for use in uncovering allegations of election fraud. Today it was reported that Sam Parker was arrested by the FBI, GBI and local law enforcement for the murder of Theresa Parker. Could these two things be the beginning of the end of all the corruption within the factions of the LMJCC? If nothing else it is proof that these corrupt individuals are gaining the attention they so much deserve.

evanbubbafoster

Room,

Who is Smith?

Dear EBF -

He is one of the Murder Defendants in the Drug Gang Murder case I have been covering for over three weeks. I was at the Plea Hearing this morning, which was held in a side court off in one of the back hallways - Federal Magistrates Court.

At first, they said it would continue later today, but while I ran home to post the story, some wrangling went on, and now, it will be tomorrow morning.

TW

evanbubbafoster
February 4th, 2008 at 2:53 pm

The evidence must be really strong with the Sam Parker case, to charge someone without a body is rarely done. His case and the Peterson case that has been on the air for several months are so closely related that it is scary. And As for sheriff Long, how stupid can you be? The more I hear and read about him, I don’t see how he got elected to begin with. You know, a lot of people in the surrounding area said the same thing when Gary M. got elected again after his bust over the chicken fights. It is my opinion that soon, Chattooga co. will be under the hot seat when all of the corruption hits public. The million dollar question is, will it change the perspective of BLC to the General public. I think that a lot of people are laughing at him now, and he’s slowly writing himself out of the Chattooga co. history books. I hope that the paranoia is killing them all.

DUDLEY DO RIGHT
February 4th, 2008 at 3:36 pm

OK TW, I realize your ill, but I am so happy you were there this morning. This confession looks really bad! There has been some comments that Smiths’ family was threatened if he “snitched”. What do you think of all these developements in the last few days? One big story after another. How in the world can any one person keep up? Take care of your health, please!

Dear Room4-

I am much better this afternoon, thank you.

I must say that, in my personal opinion, I saw emotional relief on the face of Josh Smiththis morning. He seemed legitimately ready to face his responsibility. I am not practiced or experienced in these things, and I could be wrong.

I would imagine that his testimony, once heard in front of the jury will be very serious for Shane Rosser. I do not see the direct link to Sammy Duque’s having planned or ordered, but, as i said last week, I have not seen all of the evidence yet. But according to even Smith’s Plea, Rosser owed Sammy Duque a lot of money, and I imagine it will be postulated that Sammy Duque got Shane Rosser to committ the murders in repayment. I think thsi may be the discussion set up by Ms. Huggins on Friday, who had overheard Shane Rosser and Sammy Duque arguing about the $2,000.00.

Sammy Duque, Shane Rosser and Josh Smith were the only ones charged with the Agan/Fortenberry murders, so there is still the whole set of other murders to go.

But I will keep ya’ll posted.

Just wondering why Tink’s and other post were removed. It is starting to look like TW does things to fit here on agenda. I take it that she is only after one thing, and that is what TW wants people to read, she leaves, and what she doesn’t want people to see, she takes it off. This will be my last post, because I don’t agree with her practices. TW, you are doing the same thing that BLC is doing, Censoring. This must not be the BLOG that I thought it was.

Dear DDR:

I am sorry you are offended. Tink mentioned someone’s name who is not a public person. She also went in to great detail about her identity, which I felt was very foolish, as she is someone who BLC has asked about. Becaus I do not know the perosn whose name she complained about, and whether or not he is a compatriot of BLC’s and might be persuaded to sue me, then I felt it best to remove the post.

Neither you nor Tink have to borrow money to defend law suits for something other people posted. I have over $10,000.00 invested in this depostion, and the two law suits, all for things other people have said in casual comments on the webiste I invested everything to create. So really, unless you or Tink want to belly up to the bar and pay for the next installment of my legal fees, due soon, then you can complain elsewhere.

I am not trying to send you elsewhere, but really, I have asked my readers not to use other peoples’ names in their posts, unless they are public persons, because even if a law suit is bogus, I still have to pay BIG BUCKS to defend it, all to keep the identities of my readers anonymous.

Tink needs to learn that sometimes, Discretion is the Better Part of Valour. Let us have some victories in court before we are careless in slinging Chattooga County names around, if not for your own sakes, for my sake.

But I have been covering the Federal Gang Trial for in to the fourth week, now, every day, all day long, now, (until today when the recessed early). That has consumed all of my time, and, being sick killed the time in the late evenings to catch up on postings and e-mails.

I am feeling better, and used this afternoon’s break from court to return about 79 e-mails from end of last week and this week, at the Contact@RomeNewsByWatson.com e-mail address alone.

I also had to catch up on other news, and attended the first County Commission meeting Tuesday afternnon, since this trial began. I also had to change out the old, stale news which the flu just prevented me form doing last week. I am a one (WO)man show, and covering a trial, attending meetings in the evenings, being sick, trying to run the business and fight two law suits and such, there is just not enough time in the day.

I am exhausted, and I need a vacation. I need a week at the beach to smell the salt air, cook fresh seafood, walk in the sand, and listen to the waves, and sit and read all the books piled up calling to me. I need some Beach Music. I NEED A VACATION!

This is only what I was told by friends that read the articles. One was your last court date. BLC said this and BLC said that. Bla, Bla, Bla. They felt like they were reading a story about BLC, not someones’ lawsuit. It was clear that he basically wanted to know the Identities of posters on your website. Even the SN couldn’t spin that any other way. Another was about Betty Bradys’ hearing. Her lawyer must have slapped them around a bit. Insisting there would be NO PRESS for the next meeting, I believe. All slanted reporting was their opinion. The third was an editorial or opinion? I don’t know, it could have been a story. It was cautioning and begging people not to drink and drive. I am sure there are a lot of people that didn’t realize it was a crime. LOL. Maybe there are people that don’t understand how dangerous it is for those other drivers on the road if they have the misfortune to have contact with a drunk driver. People even drive to work under the influence, or so I’m told, in the morning. Maybe some JUDGE will lock them all up. Maybe the SN is really a COMIC. It is so ironic don’t you think?

Dear Room4,

Did Jason Espy print the tape recording of the hearings? He has been printing almost verbatim excerpts from every single hearing & deposition since December 4, when I dragged in to this Lyerly case, except for a few convenient ommissions which would paint BLC in HORRIBLE light, so, I am wonderring. I have heard from several independent sources present at the hearing last week, that Ann Lewis spanked BLC soundly, and that he got very hateful and childish towards her, as he has towards my self and my attorney.

I heard that Jerry Westbrook was so clueless about basic law that he had to keep asking question of Bobby Lee Cook as to how to proceed. He even had to back track on his denial of the Certificate For Immediate Review, that he actually thought if he granted it, that this was approving the appeal.

I can hardly wait for that transcript to come out. I wil scan every page and post it on the website, if the SN does not.

In the meantime, I am working on my op-ed for Sunday. It draws together several elements of this whole Judicial Fiasco.
