Obama’s Homeland Security Report Identifies End-time Prophecy Christians, Returning Gulf War Veterans and Illegal Immigration Activists as “Right Wing Radicals” Capable of Terrorism

April 15, 2009 has learned this evening that the US DHS Report which came out last week, was originally commissioned by President Bush last fall, at the same time when a report to look at left wing extremism, the report of which was issued on January 2, 2009, while he was still in office, was commissioned. will attempt to get a copy of the earlier report for a side by side comparison.

April 14, 2009Conservative columnist, blogger and Fox News Contributor, Micelle Malkin posted a disturbing article this morning, about how the Department of Homeland Security has issued a memo about radical right wing terrorists and potential terrorists, just in time for the April 15, 2009, “Tax Day Tea Partyâ€.

While nowhere in the report, did I read a specific reference to Tea Party goers, (see PDF file in article, below), I did find the following identified “problem†groups, which when combined can only infer those who might also be attending Tea Party events on April 15, 2009, among those:

Returning Gulf War veterans.Gun enthusiasts who actively stand against gun control.

Christians who believe in “End-time†prophecy.Those individuals who have actively spoken out about Illegal Immigration.

Americans disgruntled about the perceived economic climate.

The paper goes on to suggest that this is also the result of white supremacist groups and their response to the election of the United States’ first African American president, making any redress against President Obama’s policies a RACE Issue. It also identifies these groups as anti-Semitic.

AS a Conservative Independent who not only supports Democratic candidates when they are the best candidate for a position, I have often supported AFRICAN AMERICAN candidates, and this insinuation that I as a protestor of some of President Obama’s policies, including his policies on illegal immigration, his economic policies and his position on gun ownership, should thus be considered a racists and an extremist and white supremacist is infuriating.

This Department of Homeland Security REPORT is a Race-Bating, Hate-mongering piece of Propaganda, seeking to divide this country along race, ethnic and conservative-liberal lines. Its authors should be indicted for hate speech. I cannot imagine President Obama’s hero, (and mine), Abraham Lincoln EVER allowing such divisive rhetoric to be used as an official edict of his administration’s policies.

As a result of the all of the groups identified in this Department of Homeland Security memo, I can logically infer that any and all “Tax Day Tea Party-going†protestors will be labeled a security threat.

It is time for TRUE AMERICANS to rise up and protest the assault on our most Fundamental and Constitutionally protected Civil Rights, those of Freedom of Speech, the right to Redress our Government, Freedom of Religion - to worship freely and to believe religious precepts as we so choose, and the Right to Bear Arms, all of which now, by this Department of Homeland Security memo, makes us Right Wing Extremist Radicals capable of HOMELAND TERRORISM!

We are posting an excerpt of Ms. Malkin’s article below, with a link to the full columns as well as the link to the Homeland Security PDF document which Malkin confirmed with Homeland Security was indeed issued. will also attempt to contact the Department of Homeland Security today to learn what other grave and disturbing affronts to Freedom of Speech we might be facing tomorrow and in the future as American exercise their rights to Free Speech and as citizens redress our grievances against our government.

Excerpt From Michelle Malkin’s Artice:

Yesterday, # Roger Hedgecock and the Liberty Papers posted an unclassified DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis report titled: Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment. The “report†(PDF file here) was one of the most embarrassingly shoddy pieces of propaganda I’d ever read out of DHS. I couldn’t believe it was real. I spent the day chasing down DHS spokespeople, who have been tied up preparing for a very important homeland security event later today: The First Lady is coming to visit their Washington office. Priorities, you know.Well, the press office got back to me and verified that the document is indeed for real.

They were very defensive — preemptively so — in asserting that it was not a politicized document and that DHS had done reports on “leftwing extremism†in the past. I have covered DHS for many years and am quite familiar with past assessments they and the FBI have done on animal rights terrorists and environmental terrorists. But those past reports have always been very specific in identifying the exact groups, causes, and targets of domestic terrorism, i.e., the ALF, ELF, and Stop Huntingdon wackos who have engaged in physical harassment, arson, vandalism, and worse against pharmaceutical companies, farms, labs, and university researchers.

Well, during the Bush era and the warrantless wiretapping and violations of Constitutional protection against warrantless searches, the neo-coonservatives were fond of proclaiming “if you’ve done nothing wrong, then you’ve nothing to worry about”.
Shouldn’t that same mindset hold true today? Or has the morbidity of hypocrisy come home to the practitioners of that black craft?
So, what’s the problem? Take it like real men and quit whining.

Dear JH,

I have never committed a crime, contributed to an identified Terrorist agency, fraternized with KNOWN Terrorists, and have never attended a foreign madras which preaches hate and violence against Americans. Those are the individuals the Federal Government, under the Bush’s Very Limited and VERY Specific Scope parameters, were possible subjects for unwarranted wire taps went after, and even then, immediately after the threat, there still had to be a warrant.

So no, I do not think the same should apply to me, or to any other natural born American citizen who has never been involved in crime AND who has never been associated with terrorist groups or persons. Not all Muslims who practice their faith were open to warrantless wiretaps - only those whose activities, like contributing to or fraternizing with KNOWN FOREIGN terrorist groups or persons were subject to warrantless wiretaps. BIGGGGGGGGGG Difference.

Only a fool justifies a wrong by pointing to another previous bad act.

FYI, at the Rome Tea Party today, I was tough on the former administration for its failures which led to our current economic crisis. I do not justify bad or criminal acts by Democrats, and I do not justify bad or criminal acts by Republicans.

If you have read my website for long, you will know I am supportive of good government and good candidates REGARDLESS of party affiliation, and am tough on bad government/bad policies, regardless of party affiliation.

Why don’t you grow up and learn how to tell the difference in both, by looking past the party who is responsible, and assign blame where blame should be assigned, and give credit where credit is due.

Honk, honk, honk I am one of the right wing extremist/terrorist. I believe in the first amendment and the second and third and fourth and so on and so on. I don’t believe that our federal government should regulate every facet of our lives. If Obama wants to call me an extremist for being an AMERICAN then so be it. He will only be there for four years and will only have total power in Congress for about one more year( when campaign season starts he won’t get any legislation passed). The only way he will be there longer is if he declares himself President for life, kind of like Hugo Chavez.

Dear B,

I, too, believe that there will be a complete flip flop in the Congressional fabric 2010, UNLESS major economic turn arounds come BEFORE the November 2010 Primary.

Why am I upset, Joe Heathen? It is because I’m a peaceful person who has never supported acts of terrorism; who opposes big government and reckless spending; who is pro-life and a Christian, and not ashamed to admit it; who is a proud supporter of the Constitution and supports our troops; and who has a very good reason to be concerned about the direction the Obama administration is taking this country.

It’s one thing to be concerned about people who are truly threats to this country; people who want to blow us up, poison us, shoot us, and infect us with horrible diseases. But the DHS and the Obama administration has falsely accused conservatives, Christians, and homecoming war veterans as potential threats to our country. Not only that, but they’re too chicken to call the REAL terrorists (you know, the ones who want to kill us?) for what they are. Instead, they use P.C. terms like “man-caused disaster,” “overseas contingency operation,” and “freedom fighters.”

Every single person who supports this document and refuses to condemn it, is guilty of spitting on the Constitution and in the faces of our founding fathers.

Dear Linda,

It is especially alarming in the face of the new Obama Admin/PC terms for terrorists. Freedom fighters? Are you kidding me? There is NOTHING remotely resembling “Freedom-Fighters” in the makeup of one who would blow himself up in a crowded market full of civilians, spilling innocnet blood ON PURPOSE.

When I think of Freedom Fighters, I think of the 82nd Airborne Fighting Red Devils and the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles - now those are Freedom Fighters!
