About Us

Teresa Watson grew up at Ft. Benning, Georgia, the daughter of a career Army officer, Ltc. (ret) Joseph E. Watson. Hearing stories of American bravery from her father’s recounting of his two combat jumps in the European Theatre of WWII, (Fighting Red Devils - 82nd Airborne), and two combat jumps in Korea, with the 187th, and later stories, once de-classified, of his experiences as Liaison between the U.S Army, the CIA and the South Vietnamese Army, with the Phoenix Operation, through two tours of duty in Viet Nam, Teresa developed a strong sense of patriotism and personal responsibility.

At 17, as News Editor for her high school newspaper, she was blackballed from NHS by her Journalism Sponsor, for printing a story on corruption involving Senator Talmadge, for whom the teacher worked as a volunteer. Her father told her that she could choose to live her life by the standards of the status quo, or she could choose to live by her conscience. However, he warned her that in choosing the latter, she would have to accept that there would be times much worse than these, and that she would frequently have to walk alone. He then shared with her Edmund Burke’s quote, “All that is necessary for evil to persist, is for enough good men to do nothing”.

Years later, Teresa Watson had another very tough choice to make, which brought her and her two children to Rome, Georgia, in 1992. She was trying to escape a cocaine addicted, sex addict, and Savannah attorney, who had been clinically diagnosed as a Sociopath. During the next eight years, she experienced the Floyd County Judicial System enough to lead her, in desperation, to the FBI in early 2000.

After five law suits in eight years, in desperation, she met with two Federal Agents, and learned that Floyd County Superior Court Judge, F. Larry Salmon, the judge at whose hand she had suffered inexplicable ruling after inexplicable ruling, through the eight years of litigation, was the subject of an “informal” federal investigation. The two agents, Special Agent Bruce Willis and Special Agent Randy Travis, (not their real names), explained that her dilemma was not the focus of their concern, and was in fact not even on their radar until she had contacted them. They explained that because sitting judges are so protected from the normal investigative processes, that as long as the judge is on the bench, only the direct testimony of a witness to a crime , (extortion, accepting a bribe, illegal ex parte communication, etc), before a Federal Grand Jury could allow the Agency to proceed with a full and formal investigation.

There are apparently not too many people who have bribed a judge, who are also willing to come forward and testify to that fact.

So, Teresa Watson began researching, began digging, began interviewing and compiling similar stories. During this period, she worked at numerous and varied part time and full time jobs, including Internet Trouble Shooting for RomanNet, working as a store clerk at Opus 1 Classical Music Store, waiting tables at La Scala Restaurant, cleaning houses when offered the opportunity, and catering on the side, (a passion she still enjoys). She did this all while she was enrolled at Shorter College as a Music Major - Voice. (She actually won recognition for her classical performances, winning 3rd Place at Southeastern Regional NATS Competition in 2001, (Stetson University, Deland, Florida), 1st Place at State of Georgia NATS Competition in 2002, (Athens, Georgia), and 2nd Place at Southeastern Regional NATS Competition in 2002, (Columbus State University).

In May of 2002, Teresa completed a book of her experiences, but time and resources prevented her from finding a publisher. However, she still continued to research any trace of public corruption that she could. By late 2004, her work necessitated that she get a Business License, and a Business Checking account, and, as they say, the rest is history.

Some of the cases which she has worked on since 2003, will be documented in various Feature Articles, in between current articles on this website. Links to the documentation will be provided, to substantiate her work and theories. In all cases, facts will be presented, and conclusions will be left to the reader.

The book, however, documenting the experiences which lead her first to Rome, Georgia, and then eventually to the FBI in February of 2000, is available only by subscribing, above. Now, after successes in initiating cases and contributing to cases for various law enforcement agencies, Teresa Watson has decided to form an on-line news website, in order to document those items of public corruption which are too time consuming and risky for most news agencies to pursue.

Finally, she would like to remind her readers that for every corrupt public official she exposes, there are 99 honest, decent public servants. But public corruption does not occur in a vacuum. Citizens must not become complacent, accepting the status quo. As Edmund Burke stated, “All that is necessary for evil to persist, is for enough good men to do nothing”.
